Favourite Optical Illusions

"I saw it with my own eyes!"

Your eyes can be OVERRIDDEN by your brain.
Here are some of my favourite examples:


Category 1: Colours

(If you can use an image editor, you can prove these to yourself)


Squares "A" and "B" are exactly the same colour.




Sections "A" and "B" are exactly the same colour.




The "X" shaped piece in the middle of both constructions are exactly the same colour.




The "green" spiral and the "blue" spiral are exactly the same colour.




The central bar is just one single shade of gray.




Category 2: Lines and Squares

(If you can use a ruler, you can prove these to yourself)
